People really want to be the first to see this movie.
If you managed to get your hands on tickets to Avengers: Endgame on its premiere night, you can consider yourself pretty lucky. Once they became available pre-order, fans the franchise went absolutely wild, picking up as many as they could. While some us won’t have any issues watching the next instalment in the MCU a few days after the film ficially releases, extreme Avengers fans are unlike any other breed cinephiles. As reported by Complex, some people are selling their movie tickets for upwards $2,000.
The highly-anticipated follow-up to Infinity War will be premiering later this month and anybody that is going to the theater to see Endgame on its first night might want to consider rescheduling their plans because, as it turns out, you can make a good amount money by selling your ticket. Opening weekend tickets are reportedly being sold for thousands dollars on eBay with one person in Chicago asking for $5,000 for four tickets to the first screening.

The report points out that the majority tickets are being sold in the hundreds, which is much more reasonable than shelling out your rent money on a movie ticket. However, it still seems quite absurd that anybody is willing to pay so much to go see the film when it will literally still be in theaters a few days after for about $15. To each their own, I guess.
