The first reason you should go out and support the new I Feel Pretty movie is because the now-legendary Amy Schumer. Hate on her if you dare – which is pretty impossible – she has continued to slay and slay and slay some more in the Hollywood game with some seriously legit box fice smashes. Whether it was giving LeBron James a little bit shine in her Trainwreck or playing opposite certified movie heavyweights like Goldie Hawn – Schumer is throwing it dowwwwwwwn at the box fice with credible movies. Let’s face it – a lot flicks are one and done or don’t even bother making it to the big screen – plus if they do, more than usual they don’t do anywhere close to what smashes like a superhero flick does. That’s not the case for Amy, Amy, Amy. Her name does much more than ring bells and she’s been delivering her all in every movie she’s put out.
Reason 2: The New Hollywood Heavyweight
The second reason you should go check out I Feel Pretty when it comes out April 20 is because – well quite frankly, Amy Schumer is the new kid on the block and she’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Just when it looked like Melissa McCarthy had the comedy game locked up, Amy has cemented her foot as the top female comedian-actress that’s in super high demand. While there are strong contenders like Tiffany Haddish looking like she’s next up to dominate, you have to salute both Amy Schumer and Kevin Hart for easily being the two biggest comedian heavyweights in the game – selling out shows both for live stand up and in theaters.
Reason 3: Date Night
The third reason you should go check out I Feel Pretty is because this is exactly that type rare date night movie where you’re actually glad you bit the bullet and went with bae to see this. Every few hundred or so movies you’re ‘forced’ to watch there is a rare one which keeps you up, fully engaged and maybe even digging it more than bae. This looks like it could be “that” movie. The comedy aspect is there. The feel-good factor is there. If you’re up for taking a gamble and feel like you’re going to have to drag your boo to go see Avengers: Infinity War when it comes out a few days later, this is your chance to come through in the clutch and pre-order some movie tix!
Reason 4: The Feel Good Factor
The fourth reason you should go check out I Feel Pretty is because the overall message. Yes, it’s true we’re making this determination based f a trailer that’s just under 3 minutes but at the same time, you can really get a strong sense what this movie is about. Much like Shallow Hal had Jack Black a bit delusional and seeing things in a positive light, this looks very similar with a female twist to it. With tons jokes and awkwardly funny moments crammed in here, this should be a solid must-see for any Amy Schumer fan and anyone looking for some uplifting overall messages.
Reason 5: It’s 4/20 Day
The fifth reason you should go see I Feel Pretty is because it ficially comes out on 4/20 – now we’re not going to deliberately suggest anything other than it’s a Friday, the grass should be very green and sun nice and hot – meaning by late afternoon/early evening you’re probably going to want to munch on something like popcorn, pretzel bites and tons candy – what better place to do it than at your local movie theater with a hilarious movie to watch?
