Amanda Seales responds to Terry Crews’ “Black Supremacy” remarks on Twitter.

Amanda Seales has spoken out against the controversial statement Terry Crews made on Twitter. It read “Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together.” Reminiscent his attempt to contradict Gabrielle Union’s claims discrimination on America’s Got Talent, Crews is once again under fire for his comments.

She then took to Twitter to set the record straight.

“Just so we’re clear: 1: there is no such thing as BLACK SUPREMACY. Liberation from an oppressive system is not rooted in a desire to BECOME the oppressive system,” Seales started.

Seales continued her thoughts in a thread: “2: yes, there are people who attempt to measure blackness according to diff methods. My bottom line is EVERY black experience IS a black experience UNLESS it is ANTI-black.”

“3: @terrycrews tweets and previous actions are a demonstration anti-blackness,” said Seales. “When you use yourself in any way to obstruct the truth another black person’s PRO-BLACK experience you are a coon. He did that with Gab and he’s doing that with this movement.”

She concluded the thread with a fourth tweet: “4: A lotta my fellow celebs need their phones taken away and replaced with books. You’re not playing a role. You’re a role model. We must know our history better than we know their scripts.✊?”

Several individuals have emerged to fer criticism against Crews’ remarks. “I love you as a friend Brother Terry. But I disagree with you 100 %. No such thing as Black Supremacy. That is a tactic that Racist whites use to counteract our rebellion to their horrific treatment us. It’s called Gas lighting. Black pride isn’t anti white,” tweeted @GodfreyComedian.

Even Crews’ former castmates from Everybody Hates Chris have put on statements in response to his statement on Twitter.  “I’m not trying to call you out @terrycrews. You know it’s all love always ❤️. But we’re rightfully angry right now and fed up with anyone not with our cause wholeheartedly. I don’t want to see that energy pointed your way or diverted from the cause,” said @TylerJamesWill who acted the part the main character, Chris.

@TheOrlandoJones, who played Crews’ son, tweeted,“Black supremacy? We represent 13% US population, hold no institutional power & gaslight our coworkers. We got 99 problems and your math isn’t the only 1. #StrongerTogether.”
