Alicia Keys to Launch ‘Extra Myself’ Memoir in November

Alicia Keys is embarking on a brand new chapter.

The Grammy-winning singer has introduced that she is going to publish her memoir Extra Myself: A Journey this fall via Oprah Winfrey’s An Oprah E-book imprint on Flatiron Books. On Wednesday (Mar. 13), Keys shared the thrilling information for the very first time whereas on a celebratory lunch date with Winfrey.

“I couldn’t be extra ecstatic to share this half my journey to this point and all of the methods I’m repeatedly studying to honor my fact,” Keys stated in an announcement ( EW). “Alongside my sister, mentor, and good friend Oprah, this e book is one probably the most thrilling chapters but.”

Extra Myself is described as “half autobiography, half narrative documentary.” Alicia will share her journey—from her childhood in New York Metropolis’s Hell’s Kitchen to a 15-time Grammy-winning artist—together with recollections from these near her. “The result’s a 360-degree perspective on Alicia’s path,” reads the synopsis.
