Air Jordan 12 "Reverse Flu Game" Coming This Year: Details

Jordan Brand is dropping a new spin on a classic Air Jordan 12 colorway.

Back in 1997, Michael Jordan stunned basketball fans during Game 5 the NBA Finals. The Chicago Bulls legend had a horrible case the flu which we now know was simply food poisoning from some very bad pizza. Jordan went on to score 38 points in that game and gave his team the win. This victory gave the Bulls a 3-2 series lead which they capitalized on to win Jordan’s fifth championship. During that game, Jordan was wearing a pair black and red Air Jordan 12s that are now affectionately referred to as the Flu Game’s.

According to @zsneakerheadz, it would appear that Jordan Brand is looking to remix that colorway this year. As you can see in the Instagram post below, we see a photoshop rendering a Jordan 12 that features the “Flu Game” colors flipped on their head. The upper is covered in red leather while the materials on the midsole and side panels are black.

For now, these are being rumored for a December 2020 release although this is certainly subject to change. Be sure to keep it locked to HNHH as we will bring you all the latest updates pertaining to this sneaker.

In the meantime, give us your take on these kicks in the comments below.
