Adidas Debuts New Sneaker Collab Inspired By The 1982 World Cup

Adidas x SIVASDESCALZO Sobakov Boost releasing globally on June 15.

Adidas has teamed up with Spanish retailer SIVASDESCALZO, for a limited edition release the all-new Sobakov Boost, which draws on inspiration from the 1982 World Cup.

According to Adidas, the Sobakov Boost is a hybrid design between a football shoe and a running shoe, equipped with a vibrant color-block effect making direct reference to the popular mascot and global icon the 1982 World Cup, Naranjito.

The black mesh upper is accompanied by contrasting green and orange mesh as a nod to Naranjito, along with a white k-leather tongue that recalls classic football shoe design. Additional details include a black boost midsole and a timeless gum outsole beneath it all.

The kicks initially launched on May 9 exclusively at SVD, but a global release is set to take place on June 15. The kicks will retail for $180.
