Miami, FL – Prior to his June shooting death, XXXTENTACION was facing multiple felonies in connection to a 2016 domestic violence case. But those charges have reportedly been dropped in light his death.
X’s former girlfriend, Geneva Ayala, accused the slain 20-year-old abusing her while she was pregnant with his child. Consequently, he was being charged with aggravated battery a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering.
According to the Miami-Dade County Clerk the Courts website, those charges were dropped on July 31.
Following X’s death, Ayala said she was “broken” and asked for privacy during what she called a “difficult time.”
The “Look At Me!” rapper was killed on June 18 outside RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida. A grand jury indicted four men allegedly connected to the shooting last month.
Dedrick Williams, Robert Allen and Michael Boatwright are in custody, while Trayvon Newsome remains at large.
