Warner Music Group Greater China CEO Andy Ma has departed the company after seven months in the position, citing family obligations.

Additionally, Warner Music has named longtime HBO and Interactive One exec Maria Weaver president of its artist- and label-services division, WEA.

Twitch

Twitch cofounder and former COO Kevin Lin has exited the livestream company after about 13 years.

Sony Music Australia

Sony Music Australia has added four execs to its Sydney team.

First, 11-year SME team member Therese Ryan, who relocated to Sony Music’s Hong Kong office in March of 2019, has been tapped to serve as senior director of business development for Australia and New Zealand.

Next, Sony Music Australia has named former Nova Entertainment higher-up Claire Marshall senior director of catalog streaming and strategic partnerships.

Ben Hock will begin as senior manager of social media and content, and Universal Music Australia vet Tom Gilmore is set to serve as manager of data and analytics.

Former Sony/ATV executive Jacob Fain has joined Elektra Music Group as both senior vice president of A&R and head of research and analytics.

BMI President and CEO Mike O’Neill has tapped Gospel singer-songwriter BeBe Winans to serve as his consultant and personal advisor.

Island Records is relaunching its 4th & Broadway label, where LaTrice Burnette will serve as president while continuing as Island’s executive vice president.
