6ix9ine Will Be Alone In New Music Video


Tekashi 6ix9ine will reportedly be directing his new music video, in which he will likely be alone due to coronavirus concerns.

The only reason why Tekashi 6ix9ine was allowed out prison early was because his pre-existing health condition which places him at a higher risk contracting COVID-19. Serving the remainder his sentence in home confinement, the rapper has been granted permission to film music videos for two hours a week in his yard and record music for eight hours a day in his basement. 

Previously teasing his musical return on May 8, which is in just a few days, 6ix9ine will likely be releasing a new music video alongside his return single. According to sources, he will be absolutely alone in the video.

We’re used to seeing 6ix9ine surrounded by gang members in his music videos. You’ll recall his break-out single “GUMMO,” which saw him in the streets Brooklyn with dozens Nine Trey Bloods by his side. Considering all that has gone down in the last two years, it makes total sense that he would be all alone in his return video. According to TMZ, the rapper is citing his fears contracting COVID-19 as the reason why he will be solo in the upcoming flick.

According to the publication, the rainbow-haired artist has his security guards pulling double duties, helping him behind the camera as he self-directs the new video. Before he hit the big leagues as a rapper, 6ix9ine was a videographer so that shouldn’t be too surprising. 

Surprisingly enough, the outlet also notes that he may be working with another rap star for one his new songs. With 6ix9ine’s reputation in the dumps, it’s safe to say we’re all pretty curious to see who dares work with him first.
