“Who is Jim Jones?” the prosecutor asked, to which 69 responded, “He’s a retired rapper.”
The prosecutor then asked if the Dipset rapper was a member the Nine Trey Bloods. “Yes,” replied 6ix9ine.

During Thursday’s trial, where 6ix9ine is testifying against two members his former gang, Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison, prosecutors played the dash cam footage from the July 2018 kidnapping.
The video starts with a car crashing into the back an SUV carrying Tekashi, who is seated in the front passenger seat. Two men try to force him him out the vehicle, while 6ix9ine’s ex-bodyguard, Ellison, can be heard telling the rapper: “Give me your money” and “Get in the car. We gonna shoot you!”
Ellison put Tekashi into his car and drove f. Tekashi’s driver attempted to follow Ellison’s car for a few blocks, but eventually decided to seek help from the police. Ellison went to Tekashi’s home, where Tekashi’s girlfriend was seen handing him a bag money and jewelry. Tekashi was eventually released after being pistol-whipped, which landed him in the hospital.
6ix9ine was facing a minimum 47 years in prison, but it appears that he will be released at the beginning next year in return for cooperating with the feds.
Cross-exam Q: If you get time served you’d get out at the beginning next year, correct?#6ix9ine: Correct.
