6ix9ine Feeling ‘Nervous’ Ahead of Sentencing

6ix9ine is just days away from sentencing.

The incarcerated rapper is feeling “incredibly nervous” ahead Wednesday’s hearing where the court will decide his fate after he cooperated with the feds by snitching on members his former gang, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, in return for a lighter sentence.

According to TMZ, 6ix9ine is not sure what to expect, but he knows he’s at the mercy the judge. Tekashi faces a minimum 47 years in prison, but he and prosecutors have asked for significantly less.

Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, recently wrote a letter to the judge expressing his “extreme remorse” over his past actions. “As my sentencing date approaches, I am becoming more and more overwhelmed with emotions,” he told Judge Paul Engelmayer. “More than anything, I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to express my remorse to you, your Honor, over this situation.”

In his apology letter, 6ix9ine also disavowed his gang ties and vowed to become a changed man. “I now know that I am remorseful for what happened because I was blessed with the gift an opportunity that most people dream but I squandered it by getting involved with the wrong people and misrepresenting myself when I should have been true to myself and my fans,” he added.

His mother and loved ones have also submitted letters to the judge on his behalf.

TMZ reports that Tekashi will be in prison scrubs when he faces the court on Wednesday. His trademark rainbow hair has faded significantly since his arrest in November 2018.
