Who – approached you about the idea taking part in pushing Tiger Beer’s “The Uncaged” campaign?
My management and the brand were in discussions for a while and it made sense for me to get involved with the – there are so many exciting things coming up this year too, including my new single. They have been so supportive my music and giving me a platform to showcase what I am all about – it’s amazing.
What – do you feel is missing, if anything, from the rap game and music biz as a whole in 2018?
I think honesty is missing and more great live performers! Performing is grueling and you need to be fit to get on stage and rap for a whole set – some artists struggle, they just aren’t fit enough, so they rap over a track which I think is lazy. You wouldn’t have seen Tupac doing that!
Where – do you go to create your best musical content?
At home.. my bestie, DJ/ Producer Tayylor Made, brings her laptop and a plug-in USB mic – our pop shield is a bent hanger with tights!! We rest it on an old Van’s shoe box and create all our best music! Once we’ve written the beat and bars, we go and re-record at a proper studio ?
When – did your love for A$AP Rocky come about? We caught your salute to him on IG and love it – is there any debate over his greatness?
A$AP ROCKY and WIZ KHALIFA are my heroes. I love them both for their music and fashion. When they entered the music game, it was a real struggle for both artists as they were so different but it was the breath fresh air the industry needed!
