Rich the Kid Previews Lil Uzi Vert Diss Track

After going back-and-forth with Lil Uzi Vert on social media, Rich the Kid has decided to make a diss track aimed at his new rival.

Taking to Instagram Live, Rich previewed the DJ Mustard-produced cut, which appears to reference “XO TOUR Llif3” and “Money Longer.” “All them dead friends,” he raps. “You a lil’ man / You a lil’ man / Your money gettin’ shorter.”

The feud was apparently sparked in January, when Uzi London complained about his deal with Generation Now. “That’s why you SHOULDA signed Rich forever,” The Kid tweeted. Vert replied: “Boy I’m not signing for 20racks.”

Earlier this month, he also told Los Angeles radio station Power 106 that he wouldn’t sign Uzi to his label “for personal reasons.” “Maybe I would sign him on my business, but for personal reasons I wouldn’t sign him,” he said.

On Monday (Feb. 26), Uzi posted a photo himself with green hair, holding a giant crab that he tagged as Rich the Kid. Not taking too kindly to that, Rich responded with: “Aw look at my son @liluzivert trine look jus like me.”

It’s unclear when the diss track will actually be released, but it could appear on Rich the Kid’s debut album, The World Is Yours, which is due March 30.
