This afternoon, Cuz Lightyear released the visuals for his single "Blue Dot" f his most recent EP, What Up Cuz.
The video, directed by Nasser Boulaich and Aditya Pamidi, finds Cuz Lightyear in a dimly-lit house as he spits, "Mac-11 90 with an infra blue dot/ You ain't gang you a opp/ Fuck boy you gettin' shot."
According to the Flint, Mich. rapper, the video shoot wasn't planned—it was the result Cuz and his crew being snowed in at their crib.
"We was snowed in at the spot and just decided to shoot a video," he told XXL. "Wasn't nothing extra about it, we was just kiccin it on camera catching the moment."
The "Pots N Pans" rapper has plans to release more music and visuals in the coming months, and also has a new project on the way. "This year, I'm dropping a lot new music and more videos," he said. "New EP Demo Tape 1 Side A on the way."
Cuz is also set to tour with Maxo Kream on the Punken Tour and will appear at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami in May.
The Punken Tour kicks f on March 21 in San Francisco, Calif. and will feature stops in Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Boston, Pittsburgh, New York, Philadelphia and more before wrapping up the tour in El Paso, Texas on April 28.
Cuz previously joined Run The Jewels and Denzel Curry on the duo's 2017 Run the World Tour.
