Young Thug is already prepared to drop his next album. Just a few weeks after releasing the Slime Language compilation with his YSL Records imprint, Thugger announced a new LP on Sunday (September 9).
“‘ON THE RUN,’” he tweeted. “Album in 2 days.”
Thugger’s second tweet indicates he’ll be releasing the album on Tuesday (September 11). It’s also possible he was describing it being recorded in two days since retail releases typically drop on Fridays.
While the ATLien has some new music on the way, he’s also dealing with serious legal woes. Thugger is facing eight felonies charges stemming from a 2017 arrest.
He has reportedly been charged with possession and intent to distribute methamphetamine, hydrocodone and marijuana. He’s also been hit with charges for possession amphetamine, Alprazolam, codeine and a firearm.
