Hulu has ordered a 10-episode collection on Wu-Tang Clan’s origins. In accordance with Selection, the aptly titled Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga is impressed by The Wu-Tang Handbook and Tao Wu — two books written by RZA — and pulls from the Wu’s actual life story.
Set within the 90s through the crack epidemic, the collection traces the legendary Hip Hop group’s formation and rise to notoriety.
The collection is created, written and government produced by Alex Tse — who wrote the Superfly remake – and Wu-Tang visionary RZA. Fellow Killer Bee Methodology Man can also be within the position government producer. Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, GZA in addition to the Property Ol’ Soiled Bastard are consulting producers on the challenge.
