Wack 100 got people talking after a leaked conversation in which he said Nipsey Hussle had it coming because he called Eric Holder a snitch.
Wack doubled down on those comments in an interview with No Jumper that he did with his artist Blueface
"Gang culture is different … In that jungle, the rules change. Are the rules irrational? Damn right. Are they right? Probably not. But these are the rules. They've been like that 50 or 60 years," he explained
Then Wack said Nispey made a mistake leveling such a charge against a real shooter without a plan about what he was going to do next.
"In this situation, you have a rapper and a guy who's straight gang," Wack continued. "This all happened in a matter 45 minutes, not the next day. Because Nipsey] was dealing with a shooter … What happened was what was supposed to happen. If I approached someone and say 'yo, you a snitch' I'm going to be ready for that. You're not going to walk away from me. Because I already made my mind up because I'm going to do next."
Then Wack said that Nipsey wasn't really that popular when he was alive, and called out the "fake" love for Nip in his death.
"All those radio stations, all these people are fake … What I'm saying is you got a man who died with a million followers and no radio hit and no platinum plaques. Because everybody started talking like he's the Popeye chicken sandwich everybody jumped on the bandwagon. He went 10-20 times platinum. Radio is spinning his songs. Come on bro." Wack said as Blueface laughed.
"Nipsey's never been on a world tour," he added. " Why? He did not die an A-list artist."
Wack goes on to say while he liked Nip's music, Nipsey simply wasn't close to a legend during his time like a Dr. Dre, The Game, Drake, Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem are. Wack also said that the rumor that Nip was independent was false, explaining he was Atlantic.
"I feel Nipsey should have been a bigger artist, personally. But where the hell were all you die-hard fans when he was alive." Wack said, adding the numbers don't lie.
