NxWorries, the musical duo consisting of Anderson .Paak and producer Knxwledge link with Snoop Dogg and October London on their new single, “FromHere”.
Shot at the Los Angeles bar Gold Line, .Paak and London wail over loneliness and lost love as various party-goers get intimate with one another.
“When they turn the lights low in the club and it’s just a silhouette / And I don’t know why, why I haven’t left, oh / Everybody’s got a little place that they own / But what about you and me? We could be a song,” they sing over Knxwledge’s smooth production.
Meanwhile, Uncle Snoop holds down a table for one while indulging on dinner and a glass of wine. “I say the worst thing that can happen to a man is if his lady gets up and changes the locks and puts all his clothes on the front door / And now she’s nowhere to be found, and now you have nowhere to go,” he raps.
“FromHere” will be featured on NxWorries upcoming album, Why Lawd?, due June 7. The album has already released the singles, “Where I Go” featuring H.E.R., “Daydreaming“, and the most recent “86Sentra“.
