Killer Mike toasts to the good life in his new music video “Exit 9” featuring Blxst.
Directed by Shane Smith, the celebratory clip depicts the two at some of Atlanta’s iconic landmarks from Cascades roller rink to the Blue Flame strip club.
“With my sixty-nine, fire bird from the curb / I done had to work it like a square and had to serve,” raps Mike as he cruises through the streets. “I’m listening to BIG and Dre and crumbling on herb I’m pushing down MLK with a quarter pound of herb,” he continues while politicking with the mayor.
“Exit 9” is one of the many standout tracks off Killer Mike’s latest album, Michael, which he also released its deluxe. The album earned the Atlanta veteran three Grammy wins in February.
