Tyreek Hill’s Lawyer Pens Letter To NFL Denying Child Abuse Claims

Hill has been suspended from all Chiefs team activities.

Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been a controversial man in the NFL as late due to an investigation into claims that he abused his three-year-old son. A criminal investigation was deemed to be closed with authorities saying that a crime had been committed but they didn’t have evidence as to whether it was Hill or his fiancée Crystal Espinal who had done it. Shortly after that announcement, an audio tape an interaction between Hill and Espinal surfaced. In the audio, you can hear Hill tell Espinal “You need to be terrified me, too, b—-,” after his fiancée says their son is terrified him.

One the biggest allegations is that Hill made his son hold his arms out open so that he could punch him in the chest. Today, Hill’s attorney N. Trey Pettlon issued a four-page letter to the NFL in which he denies the allegations against Hill in detail.

“He (Hill) categorically denies he has ever ‘punched’ his son in the chest or anywhere on his body, or otherwise touched him in the chest in a mean-spirited manner or as a form discipline,” Pettlon writes.

The letter was obtained by ESPN and it states that Hill is ready and willing to cooperate with the NFL’s investigation as long as his cooperation falls within what is considered legal.
