Trick Trick Declares Detroit A "No Fly Zone" For Outsiders Amid Protests


Trick Trick isn’t allowing outside agitators to disrupt the march in Detroit.

Eminem is very well the biggest rapper to emerge out Detroit but at the end the day, if you heading to the D, it’s only right you check in with the OG Trick Trick. That being said, with the increasing amount protests that are turning into riots, Trick Trick isn’t allowing anyone coming from any other city to ruin what Detroit has planned.

Trick Trick hit the ‘Gram where she declared Detroit a “No Fly Zone” for outside agitators. In a statement to Detroit Free Press, he explained that he’s making sure that no one will be disrupting their protests with aggressive behavior, thus reinstating the “No Fly Zone.” “I am patrolling these streets daily and I will roll up on you. You aren’t going to tear up my city,” he said.

He elaborated further on Instagram, writing, “These Boots on the Ground. Be safe. #NoFlyZone on all outside disruptive muthafuccas. Stay in your neighborhood and protest. We GOT OUR CITY!! Anything caught destroying property in the city Detroit will be dealt with accordingly!! The few we’ve caught already know these to be facts!!!! TRY ME!!!”

Royce Da 5’9″ shared a similar sentiment. “We drove it home loud and clear that we won’t tolerate anyone coming from outside the city looking to destroy it,” he said. “Unfortunately, it comes along with it, but we just have to assemble to where they won’t be able to do that.”

K-Deezy, Icewear Vezzo, Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence, Horatio Williams, New Era Detroit, Jessica Care Moore, Rev. Barry Randolph, Chantel Watkins, and Taylor Harr were among the other Detroit natives who were called on by Detroit City Council President Pro Tempore Mary Sheffield to help lead Monday’s rally.
