Tory Lanez Denies Evaluating 2Pac & Tekashi 6ix9ine Like You Suppose

Tory Lanez is doing harm management after his current interview with veteran journalist Tim Westwood. Throughout the dialog, the subject turned to incarcerated rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine who Tory simply collaborated with on the Dummy Boy observe, “KIKA.” 

At one level, he weaved Tupac Shakur into the dialog and drew parallels between the 2 artists. Naturally, social media raised its collective eyebrow.

“It’s actually unhappy at that platform … sort jogs my memory Bobby Shmurda however Bobby Shmurda didn’t even get to go that far,” he says across the 17:45-minute mark. “For anyone to go that far, you bought Kanye, Nicki Minaj, your album’s dropping. It’s like, the one nigga who had shit like that popping was 2Pac.

“When 2Pac was in jail he dropped the most important album. To not say it was the most important album all fucking time, nevertheless it was a reasonably large second. It’s unhappy he’s gotta be locked up throughout it, is all I’m saying.”

On Tuesday (December four), Tory took to Twitter to make clear what he meant.

“I didn’t examine 6ix9ine to 2 pac … I simply mentioned they each dropped massive albums from jail on the degree fame that they had,” he wrote. “Get f my dick.”

And he’s proper. 2Pac launched Me Towards The World in 1995 whereas behind bars. It catapulted to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 upon its launch.

Though 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy was believed to have debuted at No. 2 earlier this week, Nielsen Music introduced there’d been a discrepancy on this week’s numbers. It seems Dummy Boy is the No. 1 album within the nation in spite of everything.

Regardless of 6ix9ine’s controversial persona, Tory says he is aware of a distinct facet.

“He’s a] superb man,” he instructed Westwood. “The factor about it’s each time I seen him 6ix9ine], he’s at all times joking round. Behind all the additional shit, he’s a very humorous, real, warm-hearted child. … I want jail on no person.”
