The Punisher and Jigsaw have lastly discovered frequent floor.
Like all Marvel’s Netflix reveals, The Punisher has ficially come to an unceremonious finish. A casualty the stream wars, becoming a member of Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones on the corpse-heap. Whereas many anticipated the cancellation was inevitable, it did little to numb the sting. Now, in the future faraway from the pulled plug, lead actors Jon Bernthal and Ben Barnes, who play Frank Fortress and Billy Russo respectively, have taken to Instagram to replicate on their time on the sequence.
Bernthal delivered a message worthy his character’s spirit: quick, highly effective, and to the purpose. “To all who’ve served. All who know loss. All who love and perceive Frank and his ache,” he writes It has been an honor to stroll in his boots. I’m endlessly grateful to the comedian followers and the women and men the Armed Providers and regulation enforcement neighborhood who Frank means a lot to. Thanks to the USMC and all of the fantastic troopers who skilled me. Go Laborious. Be secure.”
Ben Barnes, who performs the deformed Billy Russo/Jigsaw, opened up along with his personal farewell message. “Nicely… that’s the tip the street for @marvel @thepunisher on @netflix Thanks to everybody who tuned in for an episode or binged every season in 13 hours & for all of your fantastic, supportive, humorous, artistic feedback,” he writes, alongside just a few behind-the-scenes footage. “I can’t learn all of them however I see you & respect each one! Beloved working with this forged & crew – I miss you & gutted I don’t get to see what you had in retailer for a 3rd Season!”
