Taylor Swift has dominated the Billboard Hot 100 top ten spots with tracks from her latest album, Midnights.

She is the first artist ever to achieve this in Billboard history, but it’s worth noting that it comes with a caveat. Billboard has relaxed requirements for allowing any song to chart whether it was released as a single or not. That has contributed to Swift’s sweeping of the Top 10 here. Previously, Billboard only allowed songs to chart if they were released as a single.

Nevertheless, with the relaxed requirements for the Billboard Hot 100, Swift has managed to break Drake’s record from September 2021. The Canadian rapper managed to claim 9 of Top 10 spots. For Taylor Swift, her single “Anti-Hero” manages to top the charts with 60 million streams. Here’s a peek at how the rest of the top ten rounds out on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of November 5.

Billboard Hot 100 – Taylor Swift Sweeps Top 10 Spots

  • 1 | “Anti-Hero”
  • 2 | “Lavender Haze”
  • 3 | “Maroon”
  • 4 | “Snow on the Beach”
  • 5 | “Midnight Rain”
  • 6 | “Bejeweled”
  • 7 | “Question…?”
  • 8 | “You’re On Your Own, Kid”
  • 9 | “Karma”
  • 10 | “Vigilante Shit”

All ten of the tracks are from Taylor Swift’s most recent album, Midnights, which released on October 21. The release also helped Swift surpass Madonna’s Top 10 singles by a female record of only 38. Now only Drake has more Top 10s in Billboard chart history–so Taylor has her work cut out for her.

While the feat is impressive, it’s still not as impressive as the Beatles’ claiming the Top 5 spots in 1964 when Beatlemania gripped the United States. Especially since those were all due to physical sales, rather than boosted by the ease of streaming.

Taylor Swift has also announced her new 27-date tour dubbed ‘The Eras Tour,’ taking fans through her entire discog. The singer released albums Folklore and Evermore in 2021, but she has yet to tour for those albums. Swift’s last tour ‘Reputation,’ broke several records in 2018. So far, only U.S. dates have been revealed; international dates will be coming soon.
