Tamar Braxton Responds to K. Michelle’s Affair Accusations

K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton are back at it.

The R&B singers reignited their long-running feud this week. During an interview with social media personality TS Madison, Tamar was asked if she would be open to a Verzuz battle with K. Michelle. But instead answering the question, she remained silent and rang a bell to avoid getting into a messy situation.

But that didn’t stop K. Michelle from interpreting her response as shade. She clapped back, calling Tamar a “bitch with no edges” and a “muppet.” She also accused her sleeping with Jermaine Dupri’s father while he was married.

“You can’t f**king go around talking ’bout nobody when you were sleeping with a married man,” said the “Can’t Raise a Man” singer, according to The Shade Room. “You were sleeping with Jermaine Dupri’s daddy. How you sleep with Jermaine Dupri’s daddy? And get you’re ass beat by Jermaine Dupri’s momma in an elevator. But you want to talk to me? You want to talk about me? I don’t f**k married men. Hmm…but you so holy.”

Tamar’s boyfriend David Adefeso came to her defense in an emotional video. “I woke up this morning and there was one Black woman tearing another Black woman down,” he said during the couple’s YouTube show “Quarantined & Coupled.” “There is nothing we need more than to be united together right now. What I saw this morning made me sad because I saw one strong Black woman, strong good-looking Black woman, tear another strong good-looking Black woman down and it broke my heart.”

Adefeso also refuted K. Michelle’s allegations. “What makes me sad is Tamar now gotta defend herself against something which is false, against something which was concocted, against something which was meant to defame her character. As her man, it broke my heart.”

He continued by apologizing to his girlfriend. “I’m sorry for what happened. I gotta apologize. That shouldn’t have happened to you today.”

He then asked Tamar to address K. Michelle one last time, but she chose to say less and avoid any negativity. “I’m in a different place in my life. I don’t want to be a part any negativity any kind,” said Tamar. “So I’m going to keep ringing my bell ’cause that’s what works for me.”

However, K. Michelle wasn’t willing to let it go and responded by mocking Adefeso’s Nigerian accent in a Twitter voice note, which was later deleted.
