New York, NY – By now, anyone with a pair eyes can see that Kanye West is, at the very least, in need a good talking-to.
But Snoop Dogg — Hip Hop elder statesman, kiddie football coach, and newly minted Gospel music provider — went on The View on Thursday, May 24, and answering every Yeezy question thrown at him and laid the blame on Yeezy’s compromised mental state.
After claiming that he started “laughing,” at first, about the infamous “slavery is a choice” comment, Snoop went on to say that Kanye “misses a black woman” in his life — and, more specifically, his mother, Dr. Donda West, who died suddenly after a botched plastic surgery operation.
“He truly misses the stability having somebody telling him when he’s wrong and correcting him and checking him as opposed to allowing him to keep doing what he’s doing,” Snoop went on to say.
Earlier this month, the Joker’s Wild host posted a meme to Instagram that said “the evolution JAY-Z and Kanye show you how influential your wife can be to your life,” which earned him a bit backlash from those who suggested that it wasn’t his wife’s Kim Kardashian’s responsibility to “influence” Kanye West, because he’s a grown man who’s capable making his own decisions.
Last week, too, Snoop went on The Breakfast Club and said, essentially, the same thing.
Snoop told Power 105’s morning show hosts that the “energy” that Kanye had while his mother was alive is “gone,” and that the lack black women in his life is what is helping to influence his downward spiral in a negative way.
