New York, NY – BET Networks has announced Regina Hall as its host for the 2019 BET Awards. The event is scheduled to take place June 23 at the Microst Theater in Los Angeles.
Hall is best known for her roles in the Scary Movie franchise and the hit film Girls Trip. She’s also one the stars the Showtime series Black Monday and will appear in the upcoming Shaft reboot, which hits theaters on June 14.
While the actress/comedian will be busy with her hosting duties, she could be taking home an award from BET’s annual ceremony too. Hall is nominated for Best Actress, competing against notable names such as Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson.
The 2019 BET Awards will air live on BET, BET HER, MTV, MTV 2, MTV Classic, VH1 and Logo.
