R. Kelly Sued $200K For Ransacking Two Atlanta Properties

Atlanta, GA – R. Kelly’s public prile is showing no signs letting up in its downward spiral.

According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, property management company SB Global Management, LLC. filed a lawsuit on Wednesday (August 15) in the Fulton County state court against the embattled “I Admit” singer.

SB Global Management is seeking $203,400 from Kelly, citing that he is liable for the damages in two their properties.

The company says Kelly rented a 23-room, 9000 square-foot mansion and a four-bedroom home located near the Johns Creek section Atlanta. Documents reveal that Kelly agreed to rent the 23-room home for $10,000 dollars per month on January 18, 2015. The docs also show that Kelly signed a lease agreement to rent the four-bedroom home at $3000-dollar monthly rate with its lease term from July 25, 2017 to July 31, 2018.

The suit says Kelly moved out both homes in February 2017. SB Global claims that he neither agreed to the terms the leases nor surrendered his possession the homes until February 27, 2018, two weeks after Kelly was served an eviction notice from the homes.

One day after Kelly ficially moved out the home, the company inspected both properties and found “extensive damage” that was “beyond wear and tear.” SB Global says they are unable to re-lease the properties due to the damages.

The company is looking for payment to cover the extensive damage to the mansion’s electrical work, flooring and carpet in several rooms, and two broken windows. They also claim the home’s stove, bedroom furniture, pillows, a table, six mirrors, 22 light fixtures and ceiling fans were missing. And the list damaged rooms in the property extends to the theater, fitness room, cigar room, study, bathrooms, first floor kitchen and living room.

Following the inspection, SB Global sent Kelly’s former lawyer Linda Mensch and his Outsyder Entertainment company a demand for payment.

Mensch told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution that she stopped representing Kelly in April following the influx his sexual abuse allegations.
