Los Angeles, CA – Many Mac Miller’s peers are reeling from his unexpected death, including Post Malone. TMZ caught up with the “rockstar” rapper who appeared emotionally wrecked by Miller’s passing.
In the clip, Malone reveals he was planning on making an album with the Pittsburgh-bred rapper before he died.
“He was such a beautiful fucking dude and such a sweet dude,” he says. “Loved everybody. I grew up listening to his music and he really inspired me. It fucking sucks, man. I’ll just remember he was too sweet. Super nice.
“We’d play beer pong at the studio and he’d kick ass. We were supposed to do an album. But, I love him to death and we’re all thinking about ya and I’ll miss him very, very much.”
Posty also expressed his condolences on Twitter.
“God fucking dammit,” he wrote. “You were such an incredible person. You changed so many lives. Had so much love in your heart. You inspired me throughout high school, and I wouldn’t be where I was today without you.
“Never a more kind and sincere and beautiful person. I fucking love you mac.”
He added, “We’ll make that album one day bubba. Miss you so much.”
Miller died at his San Fernando Valley home on Friday (September 7) a suspected drug overdose.
He was 26.
