Petition To Stop Robert Pattinson From Playing Batman Has Arrived

It was only a matter time.

Before Robert Pattinson has even signed f on taking on the role Batman in the upcoming reboot, already people are petitioning to have Warner Bros. consider someone else for the role. A petition with a goal 1,000 signatures has already hit close to 700 as the organizer begs the network to not cast the Twilight actor.

“Don’t make the Batfleck mistake again. Don’t do it. For the love all that is holy, stop trashing the DC Universe,” the vague description reads. Some the signees even shared notes as to why they joined the petition with one signee writing, “Robert Pattinson being cast as Batman is as bad as Hillary Clinton announcing a 2020 bid. We need someone new!”

Another added: “He doesn’t act, look, talk, walk, feel, embrace, work, breath, fight like Batman.”

We think it’s safe to say the petition isn’t much a worry for Robert or anyone on either side the decision. Taking on a role that was so well done by a previous actor will always be accompanied by disbelievers who think there’s someone better. If Robert does secure the role, he’ll be the youngest actor to play Batman in the franchise history.
