The trifecta SZA, The Weeknd, and Travis Scott join forces on “Power Is Power” f the Game Thrones soundtrack.
The XO crooner kicks f the cinematic anthem, which was inspired by the hit HBO series, whose final season premiered last weekend. “A knife in my heart couldn’t slow me down / ‘Cause power is power, and the fire never goes out,” sings Abel. “I rise from my scars, nothing hurts me now / ‘Cause power is power, now watch me burn it down.”
SZA blesses the track with her haunting vocals (“Heavy is the crown, never for a queen”), and Travis keeps the fire burning with his Auto-Tuned melodies.
The 14-track soundtrack, For the Throne (Music Inspired by the HBO Series Game Thrones), also features appearances from A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Joey Bada$$, Chloe x Halle, Ellie Goulding, Maren Morris, and the late Lil Peep.
