New Music: Megan Thee Stallion ‘Realer’

On the eve her album release, Megan Thee Stallion keeps it “Realer” than real with her latest track.

On the bossy anthem, which serves as the intro to her album Fever, the Houston rapper shouts out City Girls’ JT (“Free JT”) and demands respect (“Put some respect on my team / I’m the 1501 queen”) while putting the competition on notice. “I’m a real rap bitch, this ain’t no pop shit,” declares Hot Girl Meg.

Fever, which showcases Meg’s college-partying persona, drops tonight featuring appearances from DaBaby and Juicy J. The 14-track project follows last summer’s Tina Snow, which spawned the breakout hit “Big Ole Freak.”
