Machine Gun Kelly: 5 Things You (Probably) Didn't Know About Eminem's Rap Rival –

Eminem spared no one upon releasing his surprise album Kamikaze, dissing everybody and everyone who is a figure in the game hip-hop. One his victims happened to be Machine Gun Kelly, who was attacked in “Not Alike.”

Normally rappers shy away from clapping back at Slim Shady, but MGK was brave enough to go for it and released “Rap Devil”, a diss track mocking Em’s hit “Rap God”. Em has since clapped back with his new “Killshot” battle rap reply. As you keep tabs on this new rap feud, check out 5 Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know About MGK below!

1. His beef with Eminem goes back to 2012.

Eminem has always been healthily protective over his daughter, so it’s no surprise this is basically what ignited it all. Machine Gun tweeted Hailie Mathers was “hot as fuck”, despite her only being 16 years old at the time. Following the tweet, MGK was banned from Sirius XM radio, and more specifically Em’s own station Shade 45.

2. MGK also has beef with G-Eazy.

Machine Gun Kelly also took a hit the same day Em dropped Kamikaze, as G-Eazy also dropped a diss track aimed at the “At My Best” rapper. Titled “Bad Boy”, it was met quickly with a freestyle from MGK on Hot 97. He also accused G copying his style, and either way it’s hard to deny that the pair are very similar.

3. He dated Halsey.

This is undeniably also one the reasons behind his beef with G-Eazy. The two rappers have seemingly been in a love triangle with the singer Halsey, as she’s gone back and forth between dating them. She was most recently spotted on stage with G, as he planted a kiss on her during a performance.

4. Machine Gun Kelly is an actor.

The rapper, whose real name is Richard Colson Baker, has also appeared and starred in several films. In his first film Beyond the Lights he played Kid Culprit, which was followed by roles in Punk’s Dead, Nerve, Viral, and The Land. It seems as if it’s worked so far for him, as MGK has several more upcoming roles.

5. He also dated Amber Rose.

Way back in 2015, photos the rapper and fellow star Amber Rose hanging out surfaced. It became known that they became a couple after meeting during a movie filming, and MGK himself claimed that he called Wiz Khalifa (her ex-husband) to discuss the matter. They eventually split, with the main reason being the large amount attention they received from the media.
