New York, NY – While he was leaving a taping The Daily Show in New York City on Tuesday (March 26), Logic was stopped by a TMZ reporter who asked for his thoughts on suicide, namely referencing the recent cases two Parkland school-shooting survivors and parent a Sandy Hook shooting victim who took their who lives.
As the visionary behind the “1-800-273-8255” suicide-prevention ballad, he praised the reporter for “asking legit questions,” before fering a heartfelt message support to those who may be suffering from survivor’s remorse.
“There is a light at the end the tunnel that sometimes you cannot see,” he said. “I’ve been there. It’s really hard to deal with. Just imagine feeling like you’re completely in darkness. Just keep going. You have to keep going and surround yourself with positivity and love. Go make friends. Just do what you love in life.”
After being asked if he’s considering releasing a follow-up to his Grammy-nominated hit, Bobby elaborated to address his forthcoming album.
“It’s funny because I have an album coming out called Confessions a Dangerous Mind, where I talk about it,” he explained. It’s not really like a song. This next album deals with social media,” Logic explained, “How we view the world and the negative aspect it. Not searching for acceptance in likes, but searching for acceptance within yourself.”
The album was first announced earlier this month, with no word an ficial release date yet. Logic fans still have plenty to dig if for DMV native recently released his literary debut and accompanying soundtrack ahead schedule.
