TikTok

TikTok has named Shouzi Chew as its CEO – a role he’ll fill while remaining CFO of the short-form video-sharing app’s ByteDance parent company.


Additionally, Vanessa Pappa, who began serving as TikTok’s interim CEO after the abrupt departure of Kevin Mayer last August, will transition to COO.

Angry Mob Music Group

Angry Mob Music Group has promoted six-year company veteran Ralph Torrefranca to senior director of A&R, besides appointing former The Orchard college marketing representative Max Hirsh to manager of A&R.

Warner Music Group

Warner Music Group (WMG) has tapped Good Company Records founder Anton Partridge to serve as director of global strategy for electronic music.

Plus, WMG’s label and artist services division, WEA, has enlisted Benjamin Blank (previously CEO and chief creative officer at the Big Three label’s UPROXX) to fill the newly created role of president of media.

Red Bull Records

Former Capitol Records higher-up Nikki Cox has become Red Bull Records’ CMO, whereas the West Hollywood-headquartered company has hired Imagu founder Storme Whitby-Grubb as its chief creative officer.

 Loeb & Loeb

Loeb & Loeb has bolstered the entertainment division of its Nashville office with the addition of veteran attorney John Rolfe as counsel and Megan Keelan as associate attorney.

Sony Music Publishing

Sony Music Publishing has promoted BMI vet Ian Holder to SVP of creative.

Recording Academy

Chantel Sausedo, a former talent executive for Ken Ehrlich Productions, is now the Recording Academy’s managing director of artist relations.
