Tencent Music has tapped former Tencent VP Zhu “Ross” Liang to replace Cussion Kar Shun Pang as CEO. Cussion Kar Shun Pang, who had led the Chinese streaming company since 2016, is now chairman of the board.


LiveXLive

LiveXLive has hired former AXS higher-up Nikki Hart Caldeira to serve as SVP of strategic development, while SiriusXM vet Ari Molovinsky has been brought on as SVP of corporate development and strategy.

Lastly, former Howard Stern Video VP Jonathan Flax has become LiveXLive’s VP of social media and marketing.

CCS Rights Management

CCS Rights Management has launched a neighboring rights division and finalized “exclusive, worldwide deals” with 17-year-old artist Tate McRae, toy and entertainment company Spin Master, and Montreal-headquartered record label Higher Reign Music.

Republic Records has promoted former Casablanca Records general manager Brett Alperowitz to EVP of A&R.

Arista Records

Arista Records has promoted former Republic Records marketing professional Jonathan Jacobs from regional promotions manager to national promotions manager.

Napster Group

Napster Group has named former WEA Europe EVP Emmy Lovell chief strategy officer.

Music Publishers Canada

MPC has promoted five-year team member Margaret McGuffin to CEO.

Warner Music ADA UK

Warner Music UK has upped former Domino Recording Company head of marketing Brooke Salisbury to general manager of ADA UK.

Cooking Vinyl

Cooking Vinyl has created “a new department to optimise and grow its catalogue offering to artists and labels.” BMG vet Steve Bunyan will lead the division.
