BMI has tapped former Universal Music SVP of brands and partnerships Jesus Gonzalez to serve as vice president of its Latin Creative division.

WEA

Warner Music’s WEA label and artist services division has promoted 33-year company veteran Elsa Vivero to the newly created role of general manager/EVP of global commercial services.

Exactuals

Exactuals has promoted seven-year team member Bryan Walley to COO and president.

LiveXLive has named Andrew Vick head of programming and EVP of its newly formed StudioOne content division.

Department of Commerce

The RIAA has applauded the confirmation of Gina Raimondo as Commerce Department secretary, with chairman and CEO Mitch Glazier stating in part: “We have no doubt that her executive and leadership experience will serve the Commerce Department well during this critical time.”

ADA Worldwide

Former Sony Music higher-up Cat Kreidich has become EVP of Warner Music’s ADA Worldwide.

Downtown Music Holdings’ FUGA has hired AWAL veteran Liz Northeast as client relations director for EMEA, while Alison Lamb has become FUGA’s digital accounts/marketing strategy manager.

Motown Records

Universal Music has promoted seven-year Motown Records president Ethiopia Habtemariam to chairman and CEO of the label.

Sonoton Music

Sonoton Music has named former EMI and PRS for Music higher-up Alex Black CEO.

BMG

Steve Greenberg, founder of S-Curve Records, has departed the company. BMG purchased S-Curve in 2015 and will phase out the label by absorbing its roster.
