“He ‘crossed me.’ If that makes everybody happy.”
The Los Angeles Lakers have ficially been eliminated from playf contention, but LeBron and the boys are still enjoying their final games the regular season.
Case in point: Tuesday night’s victory over the Washington Wizards, in which Lance Stephenson hit Jeff Green with a crossover that brought the house down.
It’s clear that Lance stepped on Green’s foot before he went stumbling into the paint, but the Wizards’ forward didn’t seem to mind the hysterics that followed.
Moments after Washington’s 124-106 loss at Staples Center on Tuesday, Green told Candace Buckner the Washington Post the following:
“I can confirm that he did step on my foot. But you know, run with it. I don’t care. He ‘crossed me.’ If that makes everybody happy.”
