In the midst of the controversial allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, his son and rapper King Combs comes to the defense of his pops on his new record, “Pick A Side”.
On the track, Christian Combs addresses the criticism from fans, the Homeland security’s raid on the family’s property, and even targets rapper 50 Cent, who’s been trolling Puff every step of the way.
“I dare one of you niggas scream out ‘no diddy’ / Police raid the crib like they think we selling crack, but we out here selling tracks / Multimillion dollar plaques,” Combs raps.
With Diddy’s signature ad-libs throughout, King Combs continues, “When all they had was 50 Cent, who put the city on the map, stop lying / Pops been hated on by many men and nigga that’s fine / They gon try to stop these MMs / And they gon die trying / Pull up to the Southside / We locked in, we got ties / Don’t give a fuck about no blogs ’cause we really outside.”
After the record was premiered, 50 Cent caught wind of the release and responded to Diddy and King Combs in a series of Instagram posts.
“Now why would you say some shit like this 🤦when you know the FEDS are investigating. IS YOU STUPID OR IS YOU DUMB? LOL,” posted 50 Cent.
Last March, Diddy’s homes in Miami and L.A. were raided by Homeland Security as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York. The investigation stems after recent sexual assault lawsuits were filed against the hip hop mogul in the past few months.
