The 2024 award season in the video game world is not over yet. We still have the NY Game Awards, and now the nominees for the 2025 DICE Awards are here. It’s the usual suspects from 2024, with one surprise entry that should have Phil Spencer and team Xbox jumping for joy.
The categories and nominees for the 28th Annual DICE Awards have been revealed. Battling out for the highly-coveted title of Game of The Year include Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers 2, and late entry, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle’s inclusion into the DICE Awards could be the win Bethesda Studios / Machine Games and Xbox have been waiting for, earning multiple DICE Awards nominations. It also makes up for not being eligible during Geoff Keighly’s The Game Awards 2024 because of its December release date.
