Ice Cube is gearing up for the strongest BIG3 seasons to date. Back in January, the rapper-turned-entrepreneur (among other things) highlighted a list full wholesale changes to the brand going into 2019. At the top the list, he outlined plans to expand the number participants from 8 to 12 active rosters. He also lowered the minimum age requirements for admission, from 30 to 27 years old, paving the way for players like former NBA first rounder Royce White to rejoin the pressional ranks.

In 2019, BIG# is opening its doors to international talent, and not just out–work talent, spoken for by the NBA fraternity. Not only that, Ice Cube intends on doubling up the regular season schedule to allow for two games-a-week per franchise, in 18 distinct basketball markets in the United States.

In honor  weekend’s opening tip-f on CBS, Ice Cube has enlisted his own rapping talents in producing the ficial “BIG3 Season 3 Theme Song,” complete with a highlight reel depicting all the roster changes and such.
