New York, NY – Celebrities are back on the red carpet for the Metropolitan Museum Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala. This year’s theme is “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” which is a reference to Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay the same name.
Hip Hop stars such as 21 Savage, Cardi B, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj are among the big names out in New York for the 2019 Met Gala. While some are dressed modestly, many them are sporting elaborate outfits to match the “camp” theme.
