Friend Who Found Bobbi Kristina's Body Dies From Drug Overdose

Bobbi Kristina’s close friend, Max Lomas, has reportedly died from a drug overdose. According to TMZ, law enforcement ficials said his body was discovered inside a Mississippi home by a friend on Wednesday (August 15).

The friend grew concerned after Lomas didn’t come out the bathroom for an extended period time. He went to check on him and found his body on the floor with a syringe nearby. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Lomas was the person who found Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter unresponsive in the bathtub. He was accused being the dealer who brought Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon their drugs, but he denied that was the case.

The 22-year-old died in July 2015 after being in a coma for nearly six months. As to her cause death, the Medical Examiner said cannabis and alcohol were found in the body, along with a prescription medication used for anxiety and/or sedation.

The summary read, “Death was clearly not due to natural causes, but the medical examiner has not been able to determine whether death was due to intentional or accidental causes, and has therefore classified the manner death as undetermined.”

In a 2016 interview with People, Lomas admitted the three them “were all pretty bad into drugs.”

Speaking on Bobbi Kristina’s relationship with Gordon, Lomas said, “Their relationship was bipolar. They had] extreme highs and lows and would fight, mostly about jealousy.”

Two weeks before Lomas discovered Bobbi Kristina in the bathtub, they had “all decided that we were going to get f drugs, live healthier lifestyles. We all went to the gym together. But it didn’t work out. We started using again.”

Her family won a $36 million civil suit again Gordon in 2016.
