Fetty Wap lost his left eye to glaucoma as a child and rocked a fake one for years. It’s not too ten photos him with two eyes make the rounds.
But on Tuesday (July 24), the New Jersey rapper hit his Instagram stories and shared a throwback photo showing f his prosthetic.
“When I had two eyes … 10 YEARS AGO,” he wrote across the photo.
In a 2015 interview with Shade 45, Fetty opened up about his “signature look.”
“I tell everybody it’s nothing, because it’s really nothing to me,” he said. “What happened is, when I was little I had gotten into a little accident and it gave me congenital glaucoma in both my eyes. The doctor saved one, I was blessed to still have my vision. That’s it. That’s the story.”
