New York, NY – Erykah Badu was the most recent guest on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
Rocking gold moths in her dreads, pink eyeshadow and purple lipstick, the R&B/neo-soul goddess performed two tracks backed by a seven-piece band.
For a solid 15 minutes, Badu belted out a stripped down version “Rim Shot” f 1997’s Baduizm and a beautiful rendition “Green Eyes” from 2000’s Mama’s Gun.
