An enormous fire erupted outside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as fans left The Weeknd’s concert at the venue Saturday night.

Local firefighters reached the scene shortly before 11 pm and quickly contained the fire that erupted outside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas Saturday night. Fans leaving the venue after The Weeknd’s concert caught footage of the blaze, reportedly caused by a vehicle containing merchandise that caught fire in the stadium’s parking lot.

“I guess The Weeknd set the place on fire!” tweets one fan. Social media was “set ablaze” with comments that the concert was so hot the stadium caught fire and other joking remarks.

The Weeknd posted photos from the show on his socials but did not mention the fire. The North American portion of his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour continues in Vancouver on Tuesday before wrapping up the West Coast leg with a pair of shows in Los Angeles on September 2 and 3.

The North American leg will conclude in the singer’s hometown of Toronto on September 22 — a rescheduled show at Rogers Stadium, where the tour was initially scheduled to begin on July 8. The Rogers Stadium performance was postponed at the last minute due to the Rogers Wireless network outage that disrupted communications throughout Canada. Rogers Stadium, named for the wireless network, is a cashless venue and its ticketing and sales operations require Rogers Wireless to function.

At the Las Vegas concert, The Weeknd also premiered a new teaser for his upcoming HBO series, “The Idol,” in which he stars alongside Lily-Rose Depp. The show has no announced premiere date, though the trailer says it’s “coming soon.” The series will also feature the acting talents of Dan Levy, Jennie Ruby Jane, Eli Roth, Rachel Sennott, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Mike Dean, Suzanna Son, Troye Sivan, Moses Sumney, Ramsey, and Hank Azaria.
