For starters, Em says allowing the players to fight, like in hockey, will be key to the league’s success. Secondly, get a team in Detroit.

The Detroit-native tweeted the following at the league’s ficial twitter account:

“DEAR @THEAAF,
PLEASE ENTERTAIN THIS THOUGHT REGARDING THE @AAFIRON@AAFEXPRESS GAME: ALLOWING THE PLAYERS TO ACTUALLY FIGHT WOULD BE KEY TO LEAGUE’S SUCCESS LIKE HOCKEY, I WOULD WATCH EVERY GAME (EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO DETROIT TEAM YET – HINT). DON’T BLOW IT. SINCERELY, MARSHALL”

The request didn’t go unnoticed. Charlie Ebersol, the CEO and co-founder the AAF, responded moments after Em hit send on the tweet.

The AAF currently consists eight teams, including the Memphis Express, Birmingham Iron, San Diego Fleet, Arizona Hotshots, Salt Lake City Stallions, San Antonio Commanders, Atlanta Legends and Orlando Apollos.

The four-team playf will be held on the weekend April 20 with the higher-seeded teams hosting semifinals. The championship game will be held on April 27 in the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
