HipHopDX Premiere: Detroit-based MC Ty Farris has returned with a visual for “The Recipe.” It serves as the second fering from his latest project, No Cosign Just Cocaine 2, which was released last Friday (August 10).
Directed by Kurt Norris, the visual finds Farris strolling down the streets Eastside Detroit, surrounded by dilapidated houses and rattling f bar after bar.
“Me and Trox came up with this song in New York when we were out there for the Rap Is Outta Control show on Shade 45,” Farris tells HipHopDX. “Trox cooked the beat right on the spot at our manager’s house. I brought it back to Detroit and felt it would be perfect to start my project and showcase some bars.”
The first installment No Cosign Just Cocaine was released this Valentine’s Day and featured guests such as Crabskull and Bozack Morris.
