Pistol McFly is scheduled to drop his Road Trip LP on April 26. Ahead its release, the Dirty Science Records rapper premieres a new video for the album cut “Meditation” on HipHopDX.
“The song is about staying true to myself in the midst life in South L.A.,” he tells DX. “Hustling to live, seeing friends get sidetracked, me trying to focus on my art, keeping it together to be able to bring my art to the people without giving up and losing my sanity. Ironically enough, it’s finally happening. If you’re reading this then my music will be heard. My only hope is you can find inspiration in it to keep your own personal hopes alive.”
