HipHopDX Premiere – Canadian duo Dragon Fli Empire have rolled through with a new video for “Fli Beat Patrol,” the B-Side a limited edition 7-inch 45 that includes the J-Live-assisted single “Record Store” on the flip.
Dragon Fli Empire has opened for the likes De La Soul, The Roots, Public Enemy and Mos Def, becoming a staple in Calgary’s Hip Hop scene along the way. Comprised MC Teekay and turntablist/producer DJ Cosm, Dragon Fli Empire consistently pay tribute to the architects Hip Hop.
Unsurprisingly, the visual finds the duo paying homage to the legendary Flava Unit and Juice Crew alongside Djar One’s production.
The 7-inch 45 is available now Ill Adrenaline Records’ online store, Fat Beats Records, HHV and various record stores around the globe.
Quantities are limited to just 300 units in classic black, along with a yellow variant limited to just 100 units which can be purchased exclusively on the Ill Adrenaline website and select record stores.
